ERSI Group manufactured and assembled industrial corrugated steel reinforcements for the Panama canal.

The project of the third set of locks forms part of the comprehensive expansion programme of the capacity of the Canal, the three main components of which are:

Construction of two lock complexes (one in the Atlantic and the other in the Pacific) each with three levels, which include tubs for reusing water.

Excavation of access channels to the new locks and the widening of the existing navigation channels.

Deepening of navigation channels and the elevation of the maximum operating level of the Gatún lake.
