Adriatic Liquefied Natural Gas Terminal

DESCRIPTION

ERSI Group supplies, manufactures and assembles industrial corrugated steel reinforcements for the Adriatic Liquefied Natural Gas Terminal.

Built in the bay of Algeciras, it consists of a concrete structure and an amount of steel of 26,000 t, on which the necessary facilities are coupled for the treatment of natural gas. The concrete structure consists of a floor slab of 0.7 m in height on which the walls are built that make up the double shell of the terminal, with an approximate height of 12.2 metres and thicknesses of 0.45 and 0.60 metres. These walls are the support of a new slab that serves as a support of the gas storage tanks with an edge of 0.6 metres. On this slab, base of the tanks, are the upper walls of 33 metres in height using the sliding formwork system. Embedded on the walls, 40 prefabricated beams have been placed with an approximate span of 35 metres, which serve as support for the upper slab on which there are the necessary facilities for the regasification of liquefied gas, as well as the rest of the infrastructures.

The mixed box section board has a width of 36 metres with two 10.5 metre roads with two 3.5 metre lands.

First installation overseas that combines LNG, storage, regasification and transport by gas pipelines in a single integrated complex.

First offshore gas terminal in the world.
