As part of this industrialised construction solution, ERSIGROUP was responsible for manufacturing the reinforcement cages for the precast concrete elements
The reinforcement was manufactured at a specialist PERSIGROUP plant and supplied to the Stanton Precast Ltd precast plant, where it was incorporated into the moulds prior to concreting
The project is notable for its impressive technical scale:
- 45,000 tonnes of reinforcing steel in precast elements
- 32,000 tonnes of steel in slabs
- 14,000 m³ of precast concrete
