The project was conceived as a modern, high-capacity light rail system designed to transport <strong data-start=\"346\" data-end=\"381\">up to 90,000 passengers per day<\/strong>, with an estimated annual capacity of <strong data-start=\"420\" data-end=\"445\">88 million passengers<\/strong>.
