Toledo General Hospital<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n The New General Hospital of Toledo is one of the most ambitious healthcare facilities ever built in Spain and was, at the time, considered one of the largest hospital complexes in Europe. The project, promoted as part of the Castilla-La Mancha Regional Health Plan, comprises a hospital complex approximately one kilometre in length, with over 226,000 m\u00b2 of healthcare space distributed across ten specialist buildings interconnected by roads and shared facilities<\/p>\n ERSIGROUP<\/span><\/b><\/span> played a part in this unique project by supplying, fabricating and installing the passive reinforcement for the reinforced concrete structure and the foundations. The work involved foundation slabs between 0.70 and 1.10 metres thick, diaphragm walls, piles, high-rise columns and structural elements of considerable technical complexity. To optimise construction times and ensure the highest quality standards, industrialised reinforcement, custom-made electro-welded prefabricated panels and workshop-fabricated elements were used, significantly improving productivity and construction control<\/p>\n The use of industrialised solutions enabled ERSIGROUP<\/span><\/b><\/span>\u00a0to increase assembly efficiency, ensure full traceability of the corrugated steel and facilitate quality control throughout all phases of the project.
