Cantabrian Motorway<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

The A-8 Cantabrian Motorway is one of the most complex infrastructure projects ever undertaken in northern Spain, designed to link Galicia with the Basque Country and improve national and international transport links along the Cantabrian coast. The route traverses particularly challenging terrain, which necessitated the development of advanced engineering solutions for viaducts, tunnels and unique structures. In this context, ERSIGROUP<\/span><\/b><\/span>\u00a0contributed by providing industrialised corrugated steel solutions aimed at maximising productivity, safety and structural quality<\/p>\n

Among the most notable projects are the Navia Bypass, featuring a viaduct 930 metres long and 35 metres high, and the Soto del Barco\u2013Muros del Nal\u00f3n section, which includes the longest viaduct in northern Spain, measuring 1,150 metres in length and rising more than 60 metres above the River Nal\u00f3n. Also of note are the Bra\u00f1aviella and Ni\u00e9vares tunnels, the latter considered the longest tunnel in Asturias<\/p>\n

To ensure high production and assembly rates, an industrialised construction system was implemented, based on prefabricated steel frames and manufacturing processes that provide full traceability of the corrugated steel. Thanks to this approach, ERSIGROUP<\/span><\/b><\/span>\u00a0helped to optimise construction times, reduce costs and ensure high technical standards and structural durability on a project of enormous technical complexity<\/p>\n
