With an overall length of approximately <strong data-start=\"308\" data-end=\"325\">63 kilometres<\/strong>, the new high-capacity motorway was designed to relieve congestion along one of the principal road corridors in central Mexico, significantly reducing travel times, improving road safety and increasing the capacity of the logistics corridor linking western Mexico with the national highway network<span aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"PDq2pG_selectionAnchor\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"664\" data-end=\"1264\">From a structural engineering perspective, the project involved the construction of numerous <strong data-start=\"757\" data-end=\"867\">viaducts, overpasses, underpasses, drainage structures, retaining walls and reinforced concrete structures<\/strong>, designed to accommodate the challenging mountainous terrain and natural watercourses encountered along the alignment. The execution of these structures required a high level of coordination between earthworks, deep foundations, bridge deck construction and ancillary works, ensuring uninterrupted operation of the existing transport infrastructure while meeting demanding construction schedules<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1266\" data-end=\"1863\">From the perspective of fabricated reinforcing steel, the project represented a large-scale operation involving the industrialized production of reinforcement for foundations, bored piles, abutments, bridge piers, beams, structural slabs, retaining walls and drainage structures. The repetitive nature of many structural components enabled the implementation of advanced reinforcement optimization, bar scheduling and industrial fabrication processes, significantly improving productivity while ensuring high dimensional accuracy and rigorous quality control throughout the construction programme<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1865\" data-end=\"2524\"><strong data-start=\"1865\" data-end=\"1878\"><span style=\"color: #0a626c;\"><b>ERSIGROUP<\/b><\/span><\/strong>\u00a0participated in the <strong data-start=\"1899\" data-end=\"1990\">supply, fabrication and installation of approximately 8,000 tonnes of reinforcing steel<\/strong>, delivering engineering solutions focused on optimizing steel consumption and facilitating the construction of the various structural elements forming part of the motorway.
